Pray as you begin …
Dear Jesus, help me to see you more clearly. Amen

Thought: Ephesians 2:19 “So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family.”
Could our motto as followers of Jesus be: ‘We are family’. We are not united by our love of sport, movies or fashion but by the cross on which Jesus died. We demonstrate that unity as we share in communion together and as we pray for each other.
Points for Prayer:
· Read John 17:20-23 – Join Jesus in praying for us as a church family in Islandmagee. Pray that we might know ‘complete unity’ in Christ and an ever-increasing love for each other.
· Pray for our brothers and sisters around the world who are persecuted because they follow Jesus – pray for peace in their hearts, courage to continue to follow Jesus, protection from and a love for those who persecute them.
· Why not look up www.opendoorsuk.org/resources/prayer/ for more prayer resources for the persecuted church.
